SASKIA BURMEISTER (12 Feb 1985) is an Australian actress known for her roles as navigator Lieutenant Nikki "Nav" Caetano in Channel Nine’s Sea Patrol, Vanya in the ensemble drama The Jammed and as Erica "Yuck" Yurkin in Hating Alison Ashley – for which she received an Australian Film Institute (AFI) Best Actress Award nomination in 2005. Saskia grew up in Bellingen on the New South Wales coast. She trained at ATYP while attending Mosman High School in Sydney. Saskia's television credits include a lead role in Wicked Science as well as roles in Pirate Islands and Water Rats. She received the AFI Award for best Guest or Supporting Actress in a Television Series in 2006 for Blue Heelers. Further film credits include Rivka in Jewboy, Jane Jones in Ned Kelly, as well as parts in Thunderstruck and The Pact.
