for the  sake of truth & diversity, and in case you'd like to see what goes on in an 'extreme-radical-Right' mind, below the responses I received to my previous blog. Here you can delve into a parallel universe of fake news, post truth and delusion; check out the sources: rumble, letsfixstuff, michaellindell vs  ABC, SMH, Aus.

Hmmm ... anyway, I allow myself some comments:

To begin with, I repeat these paragraphs from my original Post Truth blog:

Well, I believe you actually have never read my blog, or gone to the links I provide, as you've never read these statements ...

... or gone to those articles, re-visit the Australian clippings I enclosed, take in their substance or indeed otherwise take in reality and facts. 

 

You are utterly caught up in your own obscure “truth”, way beyond reason or indeed any sense of truth ... fully in denial of what is going on in the world. You live in an alternative Fox-fake“news”-universe, where truth, facts and reality are suspended … why? There’s nothing wrong with being conservative, but why the suspension of reality and facts? Why the lies?

The point for me here is that I find your take on truth, facts and reality odious; your ‘post truth’ modus operandi doesn’t suit me.

with respect, your response is highly typical of the extreme radical Left…..total disregard for facts and unwillingness to enter into civil debate. The only defence is to demonise, shutdown and cancel.

I suggest this be the very last political dialogue we have.  You will not change my mind and visa versa……..let’s leave it there shall we.

OK………………here are just a few of my comments on Kelly’s article…….

1.       “Constitutional sabotage” claims Kelly:

No, Trump upholds the Constitution.  The totalitarian Democrats are trying to destroy the entire concept of the constitution eg making Washington DC and Puerto Rico States so they can add 4 US Senators and control the Senate forever eg. Stacking the Supreme Court with another 4-5 judges and changing voter rules so no ID or signature verification is required.  That, my friend, is “Constitutional Sabotage”.  Kelly lost that one big time.

Trump upholds the constitution???

The diatribe above is all conjecture, conspiracy or simply fake news.

2.       “Insurgent rampage”, “siege" claims Kelly:

You must be joking……no weapons despite bogus claims, yahoos taking selfies. Don’t you recall ANTIFA and BLM destroying inner cities, more than 2 dozen deaths and $2billion in damage in 2020 in the lead to the election, court houses and police stations burned and people beaten in the streets?  Yet the mainstream media say this is “mostly peaceful”.  OMG.  Kelly lost that one too.

The mainstream media say this is “mostly peaceful”. Well, to begin with, that is a lie (where's the proof?), I don't recall having read that the media referred to the demonstrations as “mostly peaceful”. It was well covered that there were violent clashes around the BLM protests, incurring great costs and the loss of the lives of 25 people. 

This is such a strange claim, “mostly peaceful” ... why would the media say that, if it's not true? I mean, the media thrives on riots, disturbances, violence, fires. They would lap up court houses and police stations burned and people beaten in the streets ... and they did! Why on Earth would they not ... why this lie?

Anyway, it is a sign of stunning ignorance to compare these incidents with the insurgent rampage and siege at the Capitol. 

BLM were protesting against police brutality, especially the murder of George Floyd ... the insurgent rampage and siege were - as Kelly said - "futile violence and constitutional sabotage."

But what do the BLM protests have to do with the Capitol riot? 

Nothing.

Why bring them up?

Simple ... because this Trump-tragic needs to divert attention. 

 

He is delusional ... unable to grasp the issues at hand. He cannot comprehend the seriousness of what went on at the Capitol on 6 Jan 2021, as a quality journalist such as Paul Kelly lays them out. 

He again and again, throughout our discussion and with all of his communications, shows his thorough ignorance of the depth of the problems that are before us ... like all Trump-tragics.

 

This is understandable if you look at the standard of the sources he quotes and which he uses as the basis of his understanding. 

"Anybody engaging here has to suspend reality, ignore facts and be prepared to be brainwashed into a stupefied, low brain human being.”

 

Third-rate internet hacks ... 

(michaellindell is a tragic case of a Trump sycophant, a fawner ... "when I met with Donald Trump, it felt like a divine appointment" ...  and a big-time conspiracy theorist; Wikipedia) 

... don't have a grip on the significance of the issues at hand ... it is quality mainstream media - with their fact-checking departments - and the very best journalists, who have the capacity to deal with events as consequential as these.

3.       “ending in violence and ruin” claims Kelly:

See above.  Lost again.

4.        "Stolen election” is correct.  It is the greatest “big lie” that feeble, frail, corrupt and incoherent Biden won the hearts of America.  He didn’t get out of his cellar, he couldn’t even speak coherently without a teleprompter and he is getting worse by the day.  China is laughing.

This is hilarious, simply out of this world, riotously funny; what a train of thought: the Trump-tragic doesn't like Biden, so  It is the greatest “big lie” that ... Biden won the hearts of America! WTF? Let me repeat:

Furthermore, it was Vice-President Mike Pence, who rejected Trump's intimidation and declared that the violent agitators "did not win".

"‘Utterly Deranged’ Trump Has Full Meltdown Over Bill Barr, Mitch McConnell." Huff Post. The former president attacked the two key figures who enabled his agenda, calling them “spineless RINOs.” Donald Trump issued a lengthy and rambling statement late Sunday attacking two of his staunchest allies during his one term in office.

"DOJ Sues Georgia, Says GOP-Backed Restrictions Unlawfully Target Black Voters." Huff Post. The Justice Department has made its first move against one of the voting laws passed in the wake of Donald Trump’s lies about the 2020 election. “There are many things open to debate in America, but the right of all eligible citizens to vote is not one of them.”

5.       “Trump wrecked the Republican Party” claims Kelly:

Have you seen the most recent North Carolina Republican Party meeting?  Trump is the star.  He is leading the Republicans back in 2022.  Opponents like Chaney have been swept away.

Watch this space.  Kelly lost again.

Oh, yes indeed, wreck the GOP he does. 

And the world knows it ... except for the diehard Trump-tragics.

(I cannot resist, I must make this comment: My debating partner doubts Paul Kelly's judgement. Now, this is one of the best Australian journalists, with 2001 and 2014 Walkley Awards for both Journalism Leadership and Commentary, Analysis, Opinion & Critique ... and this Trump-tragic knows better!

In this context let me bring forward Michael Cohen's assessment (see below): "Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are distancing themselves from the former president because of his 'constant harping on the past & his inability to move on'.”)

Frankly, the fact that Trump-tragics deem him the star is the big problem for the GOP, that's why the party is doomed. It probably will split, along the lines of Trump-tragics on the one side, and those who see the light on the other ... and they will win out. Did you hear the story of Trump's blog on his website? It was taken down after a month ... nobody visited, nobody engaged! Sucked in, dude. Trump-tragics - and Trump himself - will find themselves in the trash bin of history. Deservedly so.

Interestingly, two of Trump's erstwhile biggest supporters are beginning to see the light (and the future) and put distance between themselves and The Donald ... his daughter and her husband: "Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner distance themselves from the former President and his constant complaints." Michael Cohen, former personal attorney and longtime fixer to Donald Trump, said the former president is getting ready to throw a member of the family under the bus.

 

Cohen shared a CNN report that said Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner - Trump’s daughter and son-in-law, both of whom served as White House advisers - were distancing themselves from the former president because of his “constant harping on the past and his inability to move on.”

 

Cohen previously predicted that Trump would turn on those closest to him - and not just Kushner - amid multiple ongoing investigations.

 

“I think Donald Trump is going to flip on all of them, including his children,” Cohen said on MSNBC in May. “I really believe that Donald Trump cares for only himself and he realizes that his goose is cooked.”
