Confined to the house over Easter due to CoronaVirus-19, I spent a lot of time Listening to the Music ... and watching it being played, all around the world, by the most diverse and eclectic bunch of musicians. I have decided that Playing for Change is the very best way to listen to music ... and learn about world-music and its performers and interpreters. What a joy! Go also to my music page.
Playing For Change was created to inspire and connect the world through music. The idea for this project came from a common belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people.
The Playing For Change crew has traveled the world recording and filming musicians, creating Songs Around the World, and building a global family.
Creating Songs Around the World united many of the greatest musicians and form the Playing For Change Band. These musicians come from many different countries and cultures, but through music they speak the same language.
Songs Around The World The PFC Band is now touring the world and spreading the message of love and hope to audiences everywhere.
