Laurie Santos, cognitive scientist, happiness lecturer, professor of psychology at Yale University has two sets of advice for those in pursuit of happiness: Gratitude … begin and end the day with gratitude, list the things you are grateful for whenever you have a moment of not ‘doing-something’. And that is her second point: Stop doing something all the time … allow yourself down-time. Say NO to things. She talks here about how detrimental Time Famine is for us; in fact, it's nearly as detrimental as Hunger Famine.
